ASI 2026 Consumer Survey Prize Draw Terms & Conditions

The Promoter

The Australian Surf Industry Association (ASI) is a non-profit organisation (ABN 80 973 846 385) of 107 Horton Street, Port Macquarie NSW 2444 ('ASI' or 'Promoter').

The Competition

This document sets out the Terms & Conditions for the 'Share Your Thoughts. For a Chance to Win Big.' competition ('Competition'), being the ASI 2026 Consumer Survey Prize Draw conducted by the Promoter.

Eligibility

To be eligible to enter the Competition and win any prizes, a person must:

• Reside in Australia

• Be 18 years of age or older; or if under 18 years of age, have obtained the prior consent of a parent or guardian before entering

• Not be an ineligible person

Ineligible persons

A person is ineligible to win prizes in the Competition if the person is any of:

• An officer or employee

• A member of the board of management or directors

• Any of their immediate family

of the Promoter, an entity who has donated a prize, or their agencies or contractors.

How to Enter

Complete the online survey via the ASI 2026 Consumer Survey landing page at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/ASISurvey2026, in accordance with the instructions on the website.

By completing the ASI 2026 Consumer Survey, entrants confirm that:

• They have read and agree to these Terms & Conditions

• They meet all eligibility criteria

• They are 18 years of age or older; or if under 18, that a parent or guardian has consented to their participation prior to entry

Where persons under 18 are permitted to enter, parental or guardian consent is required before entering, in accordance with applicable privacy legislation. Completing the survey constitutes a representation and warranty that the entrant meets all eligibility criteria, including age and consent requirements.

Only one entry per person is permitted.

Information on how to enter and prizes offered form part of the Terms & Conditions of entry in the Competition.

Cost of Entry

There is no cost to enter. However, data usage charges may apply from your internet service provider when you access the survey website.

Promotion Period

The Competition opens at 9:00am AEST on 8 June 2026 and closes at 11:59pm AEST on 22 June 2026 ('Promotion Period'). The survey must be completed in its entirety and received by the Promoter before the end of the Promotion Period.

All entries are deemed received at the time of receipt of a completed consumer survey by the Promoter.

The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any late, misdirected, delayed, incomplete or corrupted entries or delays in the delivery of entries due to technical disruptions, network congestion or for any other reason.

Conduct of Entrants

Entrants must not:

• Tamper with the entry process or engage in any unlawful or improper misconduct

• Submit an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms & Conditions

• Use multiple email addresses or postal addresses to register multiple entries

• Use any form of software or third-party application to enter multiple times

• Use a third party to enter on their behalf (except where required due to a disability)

• Engage in conduct that is, in the opinion of the Promoter, fraudulent, misleading, deceptive or damaging to the goodwill or reputation of the Competition and/or Promoter

If an entrant is found to have breached these Terms & Conditions, the entrant will be disqualified and all their entries will be deemed invalid, including any claim to any prize.

The Draw

Winners will be the first eligible entries drawn by random computer selection at 10:00am AEST on 30 June 2026, at [INSERT DRAW ADDRESS].

The Promoter's decision is final, and the Promoter will not enter into correspondence regarding the competition result or any other decisions made in connection with the Competition.

Winner Notification

Winners will be notified by email within 10 business days of the draw.

To accept a prize, the notified winner must confirm their win by return email within the time specified by the Promoter. Failure to do so will result in the prize being forfeited.

If an entrant's contact details change during the Promotion Period, entrants must notify the Promoter at admin@australiansurfindustry.com.au.

If a prize is not accepted or remains unclaimed, an unclaimed prize draw will be conducted at [INSERT DATE AND ADDRESS]. The winner/s of the unclaimed prize draw will be notified within two days. All prize winners will be published on the ASI website at www.australiansurfindustry.com.au.

Prizes

Total prize pool is valued at $7,649.00. Individual prize values are based on the current RRP’s at the time of publishing these terms and conditions (inclusive of GST). The Promoter accepts no responsibility for change in prize value at any time during the Promotional Period.

Prizes cannot be transferred, exchanged or redeemed for cash.

For a prize that involves the winner participating in some event, function or experience or attendance at a third-party venue/premises then it is a condition of accepting the prize that:

• Participation is solely at the prize winner’s risk

• The winner is responsibility to pay for all travel expenses and any other expenses associated with attending that venue/premises (unless the prize explicitly includes such costs)

• The winner must comply with all the conditions of use of the prize and the prize supplier’s requirements.

The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any misconducting resulting in injury and or loss associated with attendance at a prize provider's premises or elsewhere.

Gift vouchers which are part of the prize pool are subject to the terms and conditions stipulated by the issuer of the gift voucher. Once awarded, the Promoter is not liable for any voucher that is lost, stolen, forged, damaged or tampered with in any way.

If part of the prize pool is unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize for a prize of equal or greater value.

If for any reason this Promotion is not capable of running as planned due to unforeseen circumstances the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to reschedule, amend or cancel the promotion.

Prize Delivery

Prizes will be delivered to the winner's advised street or business address. Delivery timeframes may be varied at the Promoter's discretion due to public holidays or other unforeseen circumstances.

The Promoter will make reasonable efforts to deliver prizes to the address provided. If a prize is returned because it could not be delivered, the Promoter is not obliged to resend the prize. The Promoter and its associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any damage to, delay in transit of, or failure to deliver prizes.

Limitation of Liability

The Promoter does not exclude any rights and remedies under the Australian Consumer Law (Competition and Consumer Act 2010) which cannot be excluded, restricted or modified. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not liable for any loss or damage whatsoever (including indirect or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with any prize.

The Promoter is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information caused by the entrant or any technical error in the course of administering this Competition.

If for any reason this Competition is not capable of running as planned due to unforeseen circumstances, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to reschedule, amend or cancel the promotion.

Privacy and Data Collection

QI Insights, as research partner on behalf of the Promoter, is collecting entrants' personal information for the purpose of conducting this consumer survey and subsequent prize draw (including but not limited to determining the winner).

The Promoter collects personal information about entrants, including name and contact details, provided when entering this Competition via the Promoter's survey platform. This information will not be provided to any third-party businesses, agencies or prize providers for marketing purposes under any circumstances. Entrants' details will not be added to any third-party mailing lists.

Personal information collected through this Competition is handled in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs), and the ASI Privacy Policy, available at www.australiansurfindustry.com.au/privacy-policy.

By entering the Competition, entrants consent to the collection, use and storage of their personal information as described above and in the ASI Privacy Policy.

Governing Law

This Competition is subject to all applicable Australian federal, state and territory laws. These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
